Born of seat-of-pants experience in Lymphedema treatment and problem solving, my alter ego emerged along with a warped sense of humor looking for a way out, the Lymph Lady came alive. As an Occupational Therapist treating over 40 years, 30 years have focused as a Dr. Vodder School Trained and Certified therapist and Lymphology Association of North America Board Certified Lymphedema Specialist. Clinical skills focused on lymphedema evaluation, treatment and documentation development for EPIC, creating adaptive clothing, compression adaptations and a few inventions along the way. Skills include advance custom garment certification for all brands, intellectual designer of the Velcro arm wrap provided to CircAid with permission from my beautiful and humorous cancer patient who developed complete brachial plexopathy with massive lymphedema, designer of the one and only, never marketed over-the-shoulder-scrotal-holder for genital lymphedema. It has been an interesting life. My parents were proud.
